Meet the Artist

Lauren lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and three young children. She began her love for art and painting at a young age and always finds peace in creating. She entered the world of finance after college and her passion for painting continued as a hobby. In 2022, after 13 years in the corporate world, she decided to stay home with her kids. With more time at home to paint plus a few friend & neighbor requests, Lauren Clyburn Art was born.

Lauren Clyburn Art is about bringing you original art styled for your home that's comfortable and something that you can connect with. Each painting here has a story. As an artist, my work is inspired by what I'm learning in my daily time in scripture, being a mom, and traveling near and far. I hope when you see my work, it brings you joy and serves as a reminder that our Father desires to dwell with us in our space.

  • "Round Top Wildflowers" Story

About 10 years ago my husband and I visited Round Top for the first time. I felt so inspired by the artisans, antiques and the backdrop of the small Texas town. If you've been to Round Top, you know that this little spot is a treasure and haven for creatives and collectors alike. I've always been inspired by the gorgeous antique rugs you can find there and recently a friend of mine began selling antique Turkish rugs. I have quickly fallen in love with the motifs found on the rugs and that’s where the "Round Top Wildflowers" collection was born. Cheers to all the fellow Round Top lovers & dreamers!

  • "Tabernacle" Story

“Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them.” Exodus 25:8 NASB

We serve a God who desires to DWELL AMONG US! Even with our imperfections, he chases after us. He loves us. He wants to be near us. I am constantly overwhelmed by his grace. What a God we serve.

At the start of the year, I started The Bible Recap with Tara Leigh Cobble, a study covering the Bible chronologically in a year. Alongside my daily study, I’ve been enjoying a moms weekly bible study this semester covering Exodus. This collection was inspired by these studies. The Creator of all things, all colors, all movement, He is right here, experiencing everything with us. In these paintings, there is a variety of BRIGHT & JOYFUL colors, movement, and shapes; a representation of His presence and work in everything and that “He is where the joy is” (as Tara Leigh Cobble says).

I hope when you see these paintings, you are reminded that our Heavenly Father wants to Tabernacle with you and dwell among us through every step of our journey.

  • “The Lucky Ones” Story

During the holidays, I was reflecting on so many in need right here in my community and I wanted to provide a tangible way to give back with my art. And so, “The Lucky Ones” collection was created, focused on the lucky four leaf clover. The leaves of a four leaf clover are said to stand for The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, and grace. God’s gift of grace has been given to all of us so that we may give it to others. From each sale, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a faith based organization. It is my prayer that through your purchase, the Lord will bless those in need. I hope every time that you look at these original little painted clovers, you know God’s grace is chasing after someone special (including you)!

  • “Neverland” Story

With three young children, much of our family time is filled with play and make-believe. It’s a stage of life that has left a deep imprint on my heart. This happy and whimsical collection is inspired by my kids, our time together, and a reminder to never forget these young years in “Neverland”.
