The Story
Named for the hymn “You Are Near”, a beautiful classic written by Dan Schutte.
God is always with us — near in every moment, thought, and step, like Psalm 23 tells us, “He leads me beside still waters” or Psalm 139 “Where can I go from your Spirit?”
Psalm 23:2–3 (ESV):
“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
